Adraa Agriculture College

Our Background

Adraa Agriculture College (AAC) is a training institution established in 2012 by the Franciscan Brothers in collaboration with the Catholic Diocese of Nebbi. The college is located in Adraa Village, Adraa Parish, Offaka Sub-county, Madi-Okollo District in the West Nile region of Uganda.

AAC is legally recognized as a corporate body under the Trustees Incorporation Act of Uganda. The institution is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports under registration number MOES/BTVET/219.

The purpose of the institution is to improve the capacities and capabilities of rural and marginalized communities for effective use of available natural resources to achieve sustainable livelihoods.

The mandate for the existence of AAC comes from the teachings of Jesus Christ, the charism of the Franciscan Brothers, the social teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and the provisions of the Business, Technical, Vocational Education and Training Act of Uganda.
